Palma was sold as one of the top lots at the Verden Elite Auction Autumn 1996 (rider: Insa Lohmann). Palma has the most wonderful temperament, conformation and gaits. One of our most well known International dressage riders and judges said "it is such a great pity that Palma Campina did not end up with a rider willing or able to bring her on to the top in dressage" but this is our gain as she is such a world class broodmare performer. Palma is the "boss of bosses" in the herd but is very kind to those who treat her with due respect. She has been described "as a big cat" in her movements. She produces stunning forward-going individuals with amazing gaits & flexibility for dressage with positive intelligence.

Palma Campina produced a foal by Donnerhall 1998 sold to the USA. She produced a dark bay filly foal Dancing Queen (DE431 310824501) by Donnerhall born July 2001. Dancing Queen was in training with Natalie Hobday (Johnny Hilberath’s barn), Germany and was later sold to South Africa. She was described as “the most wonderful filly”.

Palma produced Rodizia, a dark bay filly Rodizia (DE431 310112603) by Relevant in July 2003. Rodizia was my own riding companion at Bradstone Stud but is no longer around due to a freak acident.

Palma produced a big dark bay colt foal by Laurentianer in February 2005 Loris Azzaro (DE431 319725105). She produced a dark bay filly foal by Laurentianer in April 2006 Laura Biagiotti (DE431 319653206), a colt by Laurentianer in January 2008 Louis Vuitton (DE431 316831608). Palma was given a well earned year-off 2008. She returned from Celle in March 2009 successfully covered by Lauries Crusader xx which produced our wonderful Laboutin ('Tin-Tin'). Palma's visit to Don Juan de Hus (by Jazz) at Haras de Hus in France 2009, resulted in the oustanding colt Doc Holliday. Palma was back to Haras de Hus 2014 and we are most eagerly awaiting the result next year.
