'Belle' was born and bred at Bradstone Stud. She is a breathtakingly attractive filly with very good movements. She was backed and in early training with Achim Neubert in Germany from mid 2008 until early 2010 with a long summer brake 2009. She was moved to Andre Hecker (GP rider) at Burgdorf Schillerslage, Hannover in March 2010 for a more advanced training. Belle returned home to Bradstone Stud November 2012 for a well earned and relaxed winter break. We started working her again at home and she is was placed with Mette & Michel Assouline near Colne Engaine, See: www.assouline-dressage.com and has resumed full training/fitness. Belle was sold June 2013 by them.
Belle competed at Medium Level in Germany. She was placed 4th at Schillerslage (one of the biggest competitions in North Germany) with 73.5%1in May 2012. This was her first show for 12 months. Collected walk 8, extended walk 9, extended trot & canter 8. Rider said she would have won the class had she relaxed when reined back. Belle is very 'easy' at competitions. She has now finally 'grown in to her frame', she is upright and broadened in front. No vices, wonderful temperament, as easy and helpful as they get! A local young rider with limited experience 'loved' to ride Belle and I was riding her myself daily with a constant big smile. A real pleasure.
Belle's dam St.Pr. Princessa is out of St.Pr. Walencia out of St.Pr. Shocolata. Shocolata is famous as one of the most successful mares within the Hanoverian Verband. She was, together with her daughters, prolific winners in the Verden shows as well as outside the region. Shocolata and her daughters have repeatedly produced top dressage horses, particularly with the stallions Wenzel I and Akzent II. One grandson by Akzent II out of Wieneren was sold in 2000 for DM 1,600,000 to the USA. The later introduction of Prince Thatch xx to the bloodline is considered to be ideal for the breeding of the modern type of dressage horse.
